Unfortunately, our tenancy agreement states quite clearly that we may only have two cats - the two that died one and a half years ago, actually. If we wanted to have new cats afterwards, we'd have to get a new agreement. We didn't, and at first he said we weren't allowed to have cats at all. However, he'd known about them for half a year by then, so he couldn't suddenly decide that NOW they couldn't be there after all. But still the tenancy agreement always said two, and more are therefore not allowed. Fair's fair, I suppose. But it's still shitty.
