So, because it's that time of the year and because they're popping up all over LJ, I'm doing it too -
1. What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before?
Hm... got my own flat, wrote exams and term papers for university, drove to Switzerland all by me onesies twice, and lots of other, more or less minor stuff
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
a) no, b) probably
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Not that I know of
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Not this year
5. What countries did you visit?
France (by accident *cough*), Italy, Denmark, Switzerland
6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?
The ability to do what's necessary before it's practically too late; more diligence, more confidence; a nice job; a memory for Kanji
7. What date from 2003 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Jan 3rd because of my godfather's funeral; March 20th, thanks to the wonderfulKing of Númenor president of the United States; April 4th to 6th, Veldenz; July 17th to 20th, because of the Middle-earth festival; Nov. 14th to 16th, Ring*Con; Dec 8th, because of Jörg; Dec 14th, Zürich (yes, I know, I am pathetic).
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Actually getting a few Scheine in university; Jörg
9. What was your biggest failure?
Every time I procrastinated, or didn't dare to do something.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing serious
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Um... dunno. The tickets for the MEF and Ring*Con?
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Um... good question
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
My own; my brothers;Ar-Pharazon George W. Bush's and anyone supporting him, for that matter; recently, Anja's
14. Where did most of your money go?
Gas; convention tickets; movie tickets

MEF, Ring*Con, ROTK, Jörg

Everything I put on my 2003-remembrance-CDs and probably some more

Learned Kanji and Japanese stuff in general; written

Spent time on the internet (first three quarters); procrastinated

I spent it with my parents, brother, grandma, her "boyfriend", and, on the second day, with Karin and her five sons - eating, unwrapping presents, eating some more, talking, eating yet more

Friends and Sex and the City, seeing as they were all I watched regularly

That I hadn't read before? Anything discworld-related

Selig by Helium Vola. And Blackmore's Night.
