olorielThis time it's the Christmas gift même! It worked so well last year that I'm tempted to try again this year. So here we go.

Step One
- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two
- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

Anything Tolkien-, Harry Potter-, Discworld-, Good Omens-, Sandman- or Hitchhiker's Guide-related is great, as long as it's not Mary Sueish and well enough written, but knowing you, I hardly need to mention that, with most of you being writing geniuses anyway.
Potential preferences: House of Fëanor, Eärendil, Númenor, Aragorn/Faramir (or both or either with Éomer), Maedhros/Fingon; Marauders; Neville Longbottom; Ankh-Morpork city watch; otherwise, just let your imagination roam. Cross-overs are fine as well. Rating irrelevant; I'm legal and not overly delicate.
*For the artists among you: Paintings, drawings or whatever to above topics, or other stuff you think I might like ;)
*Music. Stuff you think I don't know but definitely should know, stuff I might know that you want to specially bring to my attention, music you make yourself if you're fortunate enough to be capable of singing or playing an instrument; mp3s, self-compiled CDs, bring it on!
*Pretty empty notebooks, nicely decorated. They have beautiful books at Paperblanks - I particularly love the foiled old leather sketchbook, the jewelled wraps, the Islamic tiles, the Jali Walls, or the Calligraphy, Leonardo, Morris, Antique Maps or Tao series of the handstitched ones - but any empty, un-lined, pretty note- or sketchbooks will do. Self-decorated is great as well!
Now come indecent wishes, but who knows, it might just happen, and the guidelines said it can be big things, too.
*A laptop. Because OMG I want a portable little computer.
*A digital camera. A good one, though.
*A scanner.
*A sword that can be used for show-fighting as well. Like this or this.

Weil es letztes Jahr so gut geklappt hat, hier wieder das große Weihnachts-Wunschzettel-Meme, erfunden vontartanshell hier.
Schritt 1

Die Wünsche können alles umfassen, von einfachen, fandombezogenen Sachen ("Ein Snape/Hermine-Icon nur für mich") über mittelgroße ("Dasunddas auf DVD") bis zu wirklich großen Sachen ("Alles, was ich will, ist ein neues Auto/Haus/TV/Computer.") Wichtige ist nur, dass du diese Dinge wirklich, wirklich willst.
- Wenn du dir Sachen aus dem realen Leben wünschst (also nicht einfach nur Fics oder Icons), hinterlasse irgendeine Art von Kontaktinfo in dem Post, ob deine Adresse oder nur die e-mail Adresse, damit der Weihnachtsmann (oder seine Elfen) mit dir Kontakt aufnehmen können.
- Und poste irgendeine Version dieser Richtlinien in deinem LJ, oder verlinke zu diesem Post (der öffentlich ist), damit die Weihnachtsfreude sich verbreiten kann.

- Besuche deine Friendlist (oder die der Freunde deiner Freunde, oder irgendwelche Journals), um zu sehen, wer einen Wunschzettel gepostet hat. Und jetzt kommt der wichtige Teil:
- Wenn du irgendwo einen Wunsch siehst, den du erfüllen kannst und möchtest, dann lass einen Wunsch wirklich werden. Manchmal ist der Müll des einen der Schatz des anderen, und wenn du eine Lederjacke hast, die du nicht willst, oder einen Gutschein, den du für dich ohnehin nicht brauchst - oder vielleicht auch weißt, wo du für jemanden den reinblütigen Bassethund seiner Träume kostenlos kriegen kannst - dann tu's.
Du musst kein Geld für die Wunscherfüllung ausgeben, es sei denn, du willst es. Es geht nicht darum, jemanden pleite zu machen, sondern darum, jedem eine Chance zu geben, für irgendjemanden den Weihnachtswichtel zu spielen und Freude zu verbreiten. Die Geschenke können anonym gemacht werden oder auch nicht - wie du willst.
Es gibt keine Regeln bei diesem Projekt, keine Garantien, und kein Kleingedrucktes. Wünsch dir was, und vielleicht geht es in Erfüllung. Gib und du könntest empfangen. Und du könntest das gute Gefühl haben, für jemanden die Feiertage zu etwas Besonderem gemacht zu haben.

*Das hier richtet sich an die Schreibgenies da draußen: Drabbles, ficlets oder fics. Alles aus dem Bereich Tolkien, Harry Potter, Discworld, Good Omens, Sandman or Hitchhiker's Guide würde mich sehr freuen, so lang darin keine Mary Sues rumspuken und es gut geschrieben ist, aber das muss ich euch ja eigentlich nicht sagen.
Mögliche Lieblings'themen': House of Fëanor, Eärendil, Númenor, Aragorn/Faramir (auch mit Éomer), Maedhros/Fingon; Marauders; Neville Longbottom; Stadtwache von Ankh-Morpork; oder lasst eurer Phantasie einfach freien Lauf. Ich mag auch Cross-overs. Rating ziemlich egal, ich bin volljährig und nicht übermäßig empfindlich.
*Für die Künstler: Bilder, Zeichnungen oder was euch sonst so einfallen mag. Themenliste siehe oben, ansonsten nehme ich an, dass die, die mir was schenken wollen, mich sowieso gut genug kennen, um selber gute Ideen zu haben ;)
*Musik. Sachen, die ich nicht kenne, aber die ihr mir unbedingt näher bringen wollt, Sachen, ich ich kennen könnte, aber unbedingt nochmal anhören sollte, selbstgemachte Musik, wenn ihr zu den glücklichen gehört, die gut singen oder ein Instrument spielen können; mp3s, selbstgemachte Mix-CDs, immer her damit!
*schöne leere Notizbücher mit hübscher Deko. Bei Paperblanks haben sie ganz tolle - besonders das Foiled Old Leather Skizzenbuch, die Jewelled Wraps, dieIslamic Tiles, die Jali Walls, oder die Calligraphy-, Leonardo-, Morris-, Antique Maps- oder Tao-Serie bei den Handgenähten - aber eigentlich sind alle leeren, unlinierten hübschen Notiz- oder Skizzenbücher willkommen. Auch gern selbst dekoriert!
Jetzt kommen die unverschämten Wünsche, aber man weiß ja nie, die Richtlinien sagen schließlich, dass es auch große Sachen sein dürfen.
*Ein Laptop. Je nachdem, ob das mit dem Auslandssemester mal irgendwann klappt, könnte so ein kleiner tragbarer Computer echt praktisch sein.
