This being a federal holiday, I should have a lot of time for crazy things like Flashmobs at the cathedral, a Towel Day picnic or other things. Sadly, I actually have to be busy around the house. Tidy up my desk, for example. *cough* Or do the dishes. Generally make sure that the flat won't look too bad on the weekend.
But! Karate practice on Mondays and Wednesdays, Kendô on Fridays (and maybe Thursdays); and the LOTR Symphony this weekend, and Veldenz next weekend, the Drachenfest and perhaps the Fundom MiniCon and the Rohan LARP if I find the money in August, and the Elven choir meeting in September, and hopefully Ring*Con in November:
I'm back in my stride. Now I must just hope that I manage to keep my current ability to more or less overcome my natural lack of motivation. Just now, I'm full of drive.
I even found a topic for the first English term paper I have to write this semester.
Hah!
It's just sad that tomorrow will see the last Medieval English Literature class. Yesterday we went to an Italian restaurant with the professor to eat and chat, and it was so lovely. Even the asshat senior student was bearable. This is the one seminar I love madly and want to keep going to for ever and ever, and it ends so early. Figures.
ETA: ... it's rainy, and my lilac is wilting. This is not right.
