For the non-German speakers: The Lord of the Rings symphony will be performed in Leipzig next year, and now the Leipzig Opera announced a Costume contest - only not the usual kind. This time, people are invited to draw their dream LotR costume for the context, and a team of designers will choose the best, which the costume workshop of the Leipzig Opera will then make to measure for the winning artist. Oh, and you get two tickets for the symphony, too. Eeeeeee. I'm not hoping to win, I wouldn't even know what costume to draw, but I love the idea for the contest.
