LOL, oh, superb! I know a whole bunch of people whom that kenning would fit, and what's even funnier is that they're people in the SCA/Ren Faire/Tolkien community, and thus would understand the joke. young_aragorn went so far as to actually go live with the wolves (http://www.missionwolf.com/):
