The Oxford Text Archive approved my request to use the Helsinki Corpus and I have it on my computer now. NOTHING STANDS BETWEEN ME AND THE TERMPAPER OF WYNN WIN. Praise, glory and academic ordination (... maybe... later?) await.

Don't ask me why it's impossible for my own university to provide me with access to the Helsinki Corpus whereas I can totally access it via a university to which I mean nothing and which I can only dream of attending. All I can say is that sometimes globalisation is an awesome, awesome thing.

I should probably be all solemn and dignified now, but to be honest the first thought in my mind is something along the lines of "Yo, Queen Bess, I iz in HC, reading your letters.
