oloriel: (tried to get life; download terminated.)

I finally posted the birth report. I backdated the entry so you have to go here if you want to read it. It's friendslocked due to its sensitive nature; please respect that.

If you follow the link directly, the lj-cuts naturally won't work, so I repeat my words of warning: The story is somewhat gruesome and not recommended for the faint of stomach, overly empathetic or blood-and-injury phobic (if the written word will trigger you, that is). Also definitely not recommended for the currently pregnant: Suffice it to say that I did not have the best of birthing experiences. You'll do better, I'm sure.
Oh, also: VERY LONG ENTRY. 8 pages in OOW.

At any rate, you've been warned. If you get squicked (OR bored ;)), that's no longer my fault.

There's a post not (immediately) baby-related that I may type up later. Just to reassure those who may worry that I now know no other topic. I do. I just don't have much of an alternative life just now... ;)

(I never understood why those people with a new baby seemed to disappear from the face of the earth. How much time can such a small creature need, I used to think, they only sleep and eat anyway?

Hah hah. Yeah. Not. Or rather, maybe they do, but even that requires your almost-constant presence...)

Yesterday, however, I had an appointment. At the job centre. So I was away from home and child for almost two hours! And that warrants a post of its own, so I hopefully will manage to write that.
