Yeah, we have waaaay too many of these shows as well. Inofficially, we call it Fremdschäm-TV ("embarrassment-by-proxy TV") because really, most of the time you feel embarrassed on behalf of the contestants/participants/victims/whatever they may be... On the plus side, sometimes we have good shows as well, you just have to find them. So we're not wholly lost yet ;)
