I didn't see the dubbed version (yet?), so I don't know whether Kylo's voice is that different in it. It worked for me in the OV, but I might just be less discerning at this point. ;)
I understand why there had to be a superweapon. I just wish it had been a bit... I dunno, it reminded me more of Star Trek (the new ones) than of Star Wars. Which I suppose isn't that surprising, considering that both series were rebooted by the same series. More Death Star, less pseudophysics? I don't even know whether that makes sense!
