Got a belated birthday pressie from the state

Well, a birthday stabbie, as it happens. Am feeling fine so far, except that my left bicep hurts like someone punched me...

Did consider that I shouldn't get the shot into my writing arm. Did not consider that I sleep on my left side, though :/

But, yay! Progress!

Congrats!

I got my first dose in my left arm because I'm right handed. I forgot I sleep on my left side. My second dose went into my right arm and it was better simply because I could comfortably sleep.

I managed to sleep OK, fortunately - was tired enough to fall asleep even on the "wrong" side. Upper arm is still painful - not in a worrisome way, just the way a bruise feels, but it would've been very unpleasant to constantly need it during video lessons, so on the whole, it was probably the right choice. But I had a real "duh" moment last night when I realised I wouldn't be able to lie on the arm!

Thank you! So far, I can't complain. The upper arm still hurts, but that's to be expected. As long as it doesn't get worse, I'm happy!

I managed OK! Falling asleep the wrong way around was the hardest part. XD By now it's only a little sore, so I think I'll be able to sleep normally this night!

I seem to have missed out on most of the side effects - my arm hurt more (and for longer) than after other vaccinations, but other than that, I really can't complain.
Thank you! I gave myself a computer-free day for my birthday so I didn't see your lovely pic until I saw this reply and went looking for it, but it's much appreciated nonetheless! <3

It was. I love my computer normally, but after months of video conferences and digital lesson planning, not touching it for a day felt like a holiday. XD
