Found it.

Feel strangely validated now that I saw that the first thing Neil Gaiman had to do after his cat threw up all over the bedroom carpet was - to blog about it. (Because the computer is on the way to the towels. Right.)
Still trying to figure out why I enjoyes reading that so much
Is it a) because it's good to know you're not the only one who has to clean up cat vomit,
b) because it shows that even your idols have human problems (or, in this case, feline problems),
c) because if Neil Gaiman's addiced to blogging, you have every damn right to be addicted to blogging, too,
d) because that just goes to show the importance of always having a towel with you,
e) because I always wish I could write poetry after our cats threw up (I only curse)
f) other (please specify).
Stay tuned as I search for the answer.

Now, going to cook some Ramen noodles to come off it.

Fühle mich auf merkwürdige Weise bestätigt, seit ich gelesen habe, dass das erste, das Neil Gaiman zu tun hatte, nachdem seine Katze den Schlafzimmerteppich vollgekotzt hat, ein Blog-Eintrag war. (Natürlich nur, weil der PC auf dem Weg zu den Handtüchern steht. Klar.)
Versuche noch, herauszufinden, warum ich mich so gefreut habe, das zu lesen.
Ist es a) weil es gut tut, zu wissen, dass man nicht die einzige ist, die Katzenkotze wegwischen muss,
b) weil es zeigt, dass auch Vorbilder menschliche Probleme haben (beziehungsweise kätzische),
c) weil, wenn Neil Gaiman internetsüchtig ist, ich das ja wohl auch sein darf,
d) weil es wieder mal beweist, dass man immer ein Handtuch mit sich haben sollte,
e) weil ich mir auch wünsche, Gedichte zu schreiben, wenn unsere Katzen kotzen, statt nur zu fluchen,
f) aus einem anderen Grund (bitte angeben).
Schalten Sie nicht ab, während ich die Antwort suche.

Jetzt koche ich mir Ramen, um wieder runterzukommen.

Our cat threw up once all over the telephone and the answering machine. x_X It was odd, really, because we don't spend that much time on the phone, but she seemed to have very deliberately chosen it as a spot, instead of on the floor or whatever, like she wanted revenge on it or something.

...Maybe she figured out that the Internet connection is hooked up to the phone and that they were related in some roundabout way?
