Did I say yesterday that Good Omens is not a good book to read on the train? It's especially not a good book to read during lectures. Especially not if the professor thinks you're laughing at something she said [What she had said was that most sign languages use two fingers to indicate 'walking', "because humans usually have two legs"; but I was actually just grinning because I had reached the "dust and fundamentalists" part *glares at![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

Oh, ere I forget, 'tis July 14th, which dimly reminds me of something about fireworks and revolutions and the Bastille, so have a niceFreedom French National Holiday, whether you're French or not, and I know you aren't.

Yay, das Hand Puppet Movie Theatre hat endlich auch Harry Potter und der Gefangene von Askaban im Angebot! Ist Englisch. Schauts euch trotzdem an. Ihr wisst, dass ihr es wollt. Ihr könnt der Macht des KOSMISCHEN BAMBI nicht widerstehen!
Sagte ich gestern, dass Good Omens kein gutes Buch zum Im-Zug-Lesen ist? Es ist erst reicht kein gutes Buch zum Während-Der-Vorlesung-Lesen. Erst recht nicht, wenn die Dozenting denkt, dass man über das lacht, was sie gesagt hat [Was sie gesagt hatte, war dass die meisten Gebärdensprachen zwei Finger benutzen, um 'gehen' darzustellen, weil "Menschen meistens zwei Beine haben"; aber ich hab doch nur gelacht, weil ich an der "dust and fundamentalists"-Stelle angekommen war! *böser Blick anphoenixchilde*].
Bin heute zu gar nix zu gebrauchen.
Ach, und eh es mir wieder entfällt, heute ist der 14. Juli, was mich vage an irgendwas mit Feuerwerk und Revolutionen und derBazille Bastille erinnert, also einen schönen französischen Nationalfeiertag, ob ihr nun Franzosen seid oder nicht (und ich weiß, dass ihr keine seid).
