Oh new-found ability to think of random examples on the spot, whence dost thou come? Not that I am complaining. When the professor, after the presentation, says that she especially liked the examples and comparisons I had prepared, that is a Good Thing. Especially since I did not, in fact, have any examples prepared.

The presentation went really well. And I was hardly nervous. Either I'm really getting used to it or this was just my lucky day. Either way, I'm really happy with it.
And PowerPoint is my friend.

Also, I got a Christmas letter from

nefantoiel and I'm not curious at all and I can wait aaaaalll the time till Christmas *gnaw* - yay! Thank you so much, whatever it is!

No Anthro tomorrow which means I'll hopefully get to visit the medieval Christmas market in Cologne. More yay! The Remscheid one is due on Sunday. Also due on Sunday is registration for the Middle-earth Festival in Switzerland - I do hope I'll get tickets - and I'm rather curious whether I'll find one or two people to come with me after all. So far, it doesn't look like it. Well, Orki and Mel will be there too, and probably Olwe and Neniel, but I had hoped for more people from my fellowships. Damnit, you people. Well, I asked on time; don't come crying to me when there's no tickets left come 8:15 Sunday evening...

Oh neugefundene Fähigkeit, aus dem Stegreife Beispiele zu erfinden, woher kommst du? Nicht dass ich mich beschwere. Wenn mir die Dozentin nach dem Referat sagt, dass sie es besonders gut fand, dass ich Beispiele und Vergleiche vorbereitet hatte, ist das Gut. Besonders, wo ich doch gar keine vorbereitet hatte.

Das Referat ist richtig gut gelaufen. Ich war nicht mal wirklich nervös. Entweder gewöhne ich mich endlich dran, oder ich hatte nur einen guten Tag. Jedenfalls bin ich da richtig zufrieden mit.
Und PowerPoint ist mein Freund.

Außerdem habe ich einen Weihnachtsbrief von

Ethno fällt morgen aus, da werde ich dann hoffentlich endlich auf den Kölner Mittelalterweihnachtsmarkt gehen. Noch mehr yay! Den Remscheider besuche ich am Sonntag. Außerdem ist am Sonntag die Anmeldung fürs Mittelerde-Fest in Leuk fällig - ich hoffe, ich schaffe es, da eine Karte zu kriegen - und ich bin ja doch neugierig, ob da noch wer mitkommt. Bisher sieht es nicht so aus. Naja, Orki und Mel werden da sein, und vermutlich auch Olwe und Neniel, aber ich hatte gehofft, dass noch ein paar meiner Gefährten mitkommen. Verdammt, Leute. Tja, ich hab rechtzeitig bescheidgesagt; jammert mich nicht an, wenn am Sonntag um 20:15 keine Karten mehr erhältlich sind...
