Groundhog Day

olorielThere you are, returning from home, very much relieved because the exams are over, for better or for worse;
and then there are little drops of blood all over the floor.
Panic.
Clint has scratched his ears raw. That's where it came from. So it's probably not all that bad - except for the part where it'll never heal because healing itches and itching causes more scratching - but I can tell you, my heart missed a beat or two.

That said, happy Candlemas/ Imbolc, whatever you prefer!
(The Candle thing is unwise, though, for where there are candles, there's light, and where there's light, there's shadow, and when the ground hog sees its shadow, it's six more weeks of winter...)
Also, was re-visited by several plot-bunnies during the learning. Will see what I'll make of them. Except for Erundur, whom I'll ignore because he's being extra-pesky. Pah!

Da kommt man einigermaßen erleichtert ob der -so oder so- überstandenen Prüfungen nach Hause;
und dann sind überall auf dem Boden kleine Bluttropfen.

Clint hat sich die Ohren aufgekratzt. Daher kam das. Ist also vermutlich nichts Schlimmes - davon mal abgesehen, dass das nie mehr heilen wird, weil Heilen juckt und Jucken wieder zu Kratzen führt - aber ich hab mich vielleicht erschreckt.

Und jetzt, fröhliches Lichtmess/ Imbolc, was euch lieber ist!
(Das mit dem Licht ist allerdings ungeschickt, denn wo Licht ist, gibt es Schatten, und wo das Murmeltier seinen Schatten sieht, kann man sich auf noch sechs Wochen Winter einstellen...)
Außerdem haben mich beim Lernen diverse Plotbunnies wieder besucht. Mal sehen, was ich mit denen mache. Außer mit Erundur, den ignoriere ich, weil er so besonders nervig ist. Püh!
