olorielMy love is gone to Hessen for a week of Jûdô kata practice again. Today was the first day of practice, in heat and all, and apparently it wasn't overly exciting (they did Itsutsu-no-kata, which is, um, very esoteric). He just called to tell me, though, that he has been nominated for the European kata championships, to be held in London on November 4th.
OMESQUEE!
Canada was one thing - those championships were basically free to enter yourself for - but now he's officially nominated, i.e., he is on the national team and all. Whoa.
*is childishly proud of her great and mighty boyfriend, yes!*
In other news, my mom has begun to knit a Ravenclaw scarf for me. Navy and copper. Wheeeee! Finally, something that has a point, rather than bulky pullovers I don't wear anyway!
... bad Lyra, that sounds ungrateful.

Mein Schatz ist in Hessen und nimmt an der Jûdô-Sommerschule teil. Heute war der erste Trainingstag, und es war wohl ziemlich heiß und anstrengend und nicht so spannend (sie haben Itsutsu-no-kata gemacht, die, äh, eher esoterisch ist). Aber gerade hat er angerufen, um mir zu berichten, dass sie ihn für die europäische Katameisterschaft am 4.11. in London nominiert haben.

Kanada was eine Sache - die Meisterschaft da war offen, da konnte man "einfach so" hin - aber jetzt wurde er offiziell nominiert, also so richtig in der Nationalmannschaft. Wow.
*ist kindisch stolz auf ihren tollen Freund, jawoll!*
Ach ja, und meine Ma hat angefangen, mir einen Ravenclaw-Schal zu stricken. Dunkelblau und Kupfer. Wheeee! Endlich mal etwas Sinnvolles statt immer nur zu große Pullis, die ich eh nie trage!
