Sep. 23rd, 2005 11:54 amAn lj-friend passed away last night, a month before her 33rd birthday. I did not know her well; I merely knew some of her fan-work, and I knew her because she was the
metaquotes mod. I liked her sense of humour. I suppose that is not the worst thing to say about somebody after their death, "I liked her sense of humour", although it might not be part of a list of Things You Want People To Say Of You After You're Dead. But what do you say when all you know about a person is what you read in their livejournal? I enjoyed reading hers. And she was the second person I knew to use the term 'subrealism' (and probably the one who coined it).
This is all terribly trite, so I shall shut up now. I'm just... terribly sorry; for her, and for her husband, and the others whom her death leaves behind.
Rest in peace,
_redpanda_.
