That's not overly surprising. There's lots of Ring*Con reports around.
The surprising part is that I know the author. She sits in some of my Japanese seminars. I secretly call her Hobbit-san because she looks like a hobbit and sometimes dresses like one, too. But I didn't know that she, you know, actually was one. Or went to Ring*Con. Heh.
Small world, this.
