We had a lovely cat visitor again. It was a very young one, crying loudly from the fence. Naturally, I went out, and she jumped down the wall and came up to me, sniffing my hands, then curling up on my foot. She was really cute and cuddly and playful, and when we offered her cream, she took it as if she hadn't been fed for days. Really beautiful cat, too, with a fur pattern that looked very much unlike she was some random stray. Still, there she was, all alone, and hungry, and cuddly, and eventually we decided we'd take her in if she'd come (because I was beginning to freeze, out there).
She didn't come, though, and eventually we heard someone from the adjacent garden shout "Shakira!", and the cat jumped over the hedge to there.
... Shakira. *twitch*

And I'm left with a half-broken heart and some scratches on the back of my hand ("I'm cuddly! I'm wuddly! I want you to lift me up! HAH, GOT YOUR HAND!").
I want cats again. *mopes*

"If you can remember how many cats you have you don't have enough!"

Ah, yes ... husbands *grins*
My boyfriend (and soon husband) would rather have a dog. But he makes the best of my plans to get a cat instead: "Well ... two purring, soft females in my bed."
