So I did it ;) I managed to start my own live journal. Thanks to Fuchs *hug* for the code...
Of course, the name I wanted was already taken. Always the same. Well, the one I got now is okay too, it kind of fits (for those who want to know: Oloriel is supposed to mean 'dreamer' in Quenya).
It's quite a long time since I've last kept a journal. Well, back in Canada we had to write a journal entry every morning - our teacher would give us some more or less weird topic and we had to rack our brains and write something more or less intelligent on that topic - but that was almost 3 years ago (Eru, how time passes!). And the last journals I kept for myself never could motivate me for long. I'd write a week or a month or half a year, every day, what had happened (which usually wasn't overly interesting or worth recording :P)... then I'd read all my entries again, find most of them insignificant and then give up the whole journal thing again for a longer time. For the last two years, a tiny black book has been enough for occasional thoughts or drawings... and it's hard to re-read 'cause I encoded most of my entries. Can you believe how very frustrating it is to be able to write in a certain font very fast but to take hours to decipher it afterwards? (Actually, I have the same problem with Japanese. I can write in Hiragana or Katakana fairly quick, but reading it afterwards is a different matter. So, so annoying.)
Anyway, after these experiences I'm kind of curious how this is going to turn out. I'll do my very best to keep my LJ alive...
And I think I'll use English, because I am just to lazy to write my entries in two languages and I like English better than German anyway.
Well, so it begins...
