Bicycle... Bicycle... Bicycle..

I reactivated my bike today. Yay! Reactivated, because I haven't used it for, like, three or even more years. *blush* But today I felt like biking, so I went and checked it and took it for a rather short ride through the forest, exactly the route I that I used to run in the past three years whenever I was angry, or disappointed, or excited. Usually I ran in the evening, then, and often it was raining or foggy (which I liked, cause it made the wood somehow... otherworldly). So it was a little strange to bike there on such a sunny day. 'Twas faster, too. I used to bike a lot when I was much younger - but I stopped when I was fourteen or so and only biked when I had to, and eventually stopped completely. So it was really funny because the route really hadn't changed. I've grown, but so have the trees, and the muddy places and the rocky places and the dangerous corners are still the same. *blink* Not dangerous that way, just steep corners where you better don't drive to fast or you'll find yourself a few meters further down the slope. That sort of dangerous. But I did remember them, and I did brake in time. *g*
Anyway, I enjoyed it. And now that I know that my bike still works, maybe I'll go for a ride somewhat more often. Doesn't swallow as much gas as my car does... *cough*

In other news, finished Otherland today. The ending was alright, but I'm gonna miss that monster of a book... *sad and happy sigh*
