Bloody Hell.

Which seems to sum up that movie perfectly well, especially the first part of the phrase. Very wet. Very red.
Not without a certain sense of aesthetics, mind you. Rather like some sort of ballet, albeit a very deadly one. Beautiful, even. Mostly. Once you get used to the disgusting parts.
There's a lot of blood within one human being.

How deranged are you when you watch a fight and catch yourself thinking "Wait, there was a flaw in his defense, why didn't she hit there?!" Is this how kendô referees feel?

Beautiful swords. Want one. Want to be able to fight like this, but I'd be perfectly happy with just standing through, no need to die for potential sparring partners.

I liked how they gave O-Ren a history that sort of makes one understand how she became what she is. Actually, you know much more about her than about the actual hero of the movie, of whom we don't even know the name. And considering how the film started, it even makes sense why they showed the second death first and the first death second. Served cold, indeed.
However, the French Japanese one, the one "dressed like the bad guys in Star Trek", was really creepy even though you knew hardly anything about her. But she could translate to Japanese simultaneously. Want to be able to do that too. (Dekitai. Can you say that?)

And what sort of disturbed mind thinks of so evil a cliffhanger?!

For all who still wonder what the heck I am talking about, of course it is Mega Mutilation (thanks to J.K. Rowling for that one) Vol I a.k.a. Kill Bill.

Probably Scary Movie 3 will just be crappy, but the trailer was hilarious.
