I am not seriously thinking about going to Berlin on the tenth, am I? AND going to Freiburg on 13th, and to Zürich on 15th, and to Bochum on 16th...
Yes, I am.

On my dad's ancient computer, there's a game that my brother and I used to play in the days now gone. Its name is "Travelling through Europe" (the "old" Europe not in the Bush sense but in the 1991 sense, i.e., 12 countries instead of today's... 15? 16? whatever), and basically you just had to travel to each of the 12 countries, play some game to earn some money so you could travel on, and answer 6 questions about the country, and if you had at least 4 of them right, you could travel on. I always won.

I had to think of this because of the idea of travelling to all sorts of places within a few days. Only I can't earn travelling money, and instead of answering questions, I'd just visit friends and watch VIPs and, eventually, ROTK.
No. Berlin is out of bounds. Don't even think about it.
(Anyone want to drive me there and back again on Wednesday? Because by car still would be the cheapest alternative, even if I went all by myself... You'd make me happy forever. Or at least for qite a while.)

I'm not obsessed at all, am I?

So, to get my mind busy on something else, I'll put part of my wishlist here, just for the sake of the few people who might want to get something for me for Christmas. If that applies to you, click here... )

Hm.

This really turned out to be a mother-daughter-sort-of-day. Once I'd made my way out of bed, I cooked for lunch (chicken breast with broccoli, Kroketten (I have no idea what that's called in English - small, fried rolls made of potatoe dough?) and pineapple-cream-sauce) because my dad had to work and my mom doesn't like to cook. Eating, talking. More talking on my brother's godfather, or, more correctly, his wife, evil stupid hag, that. Then my mom had to drive to work. Meanwhile, I tried to bake Christmas cookies but failed because we didn't have enough flour. Unfortunately, I only noticed after I had already mixed half the dough. So I tried to make up for it by using cocoa powder. The result is edible and even tastes okay (they were just read when she arrived), but ngah. Will have to buy flour and bake decent cookies tomorrow.
A former classmate called to ask whether I had time on Wednesday for a Philosophy Class Christmas Get-Together, which I haven't. Either I'm in Berlin or at Kendô practice. So he said he was sorry and if they chose another day he'd call again.
We were all full so we only had some bread and eggs and stuff for supper, and afterwards we watched Chocolat. Wonderful. My brother got a laughing fit when Anouk called "Pirates" and went to see the "captain" who, of course, was no other than Johnny Depp. And my bro and I wondered for an hour whom that young priest reminded us of (we theorized he might be a relative of Elijah Wood because of his big eyes and pointy nose) until we remembered King Louis from the Disney version of the Three Musketeers... Anyway, very enjoyable movie. But I'll never understand why it is so hard for Hollywood filmmakers to watch out for the movie's "background" language. If the movie is set in FRANCE, then, for heaven's sake, DON'T have the people sing ENGLISH songs in church, and if the write anything down, let them do it in FRENCH. Even when I watched above mentioned Three Musketeers for the first time at age 9, I wondered why the heck they would write "One for All" and not "Un pour tous". And if a nine-year-old notices, it can't be so hard.
And my mother said how much she'd enjoyed having some more time together with me, now that I'm gone so often. I jokingly answered that my fellow chatters miss me, though (which even was true, one has, obviously, asked for me); I suppose she was pleased that I had spent the day with her and not with them. Hm.
Hm.
And stupid as I am, instead of learning Kanji as I should, I practiced Quenya. Gaaaah. So I suppose tomorrow in the tesuto I'll be going "Quenta - a tale, quentu - a pair of tales, quentali - a few tales, quentar - many tales"...
Ouch.
