As far as topics go.
Imagine it's Trilogy Tuesday and you don't share the cinema mainly with dressed-up hardcore fans, but, instead, with loads of people who haven't yet seen any of the movies. Scary. And annoying when you come to late and thus have to take what seat you can get and thus are surrounded by a bunch of those ignorants (however admirable/ enviable for their patience; but most of them didn't even seem to have waited because they were so crazy, but just because they didn't care and now jumped up on the hype - but then right onto the triple run?!) who have to discuss everything in rather loud voices. During the intermission between Fellowship and Towers I managed to find the NRW-Fellowshiplers present so then I was at least in the same spot as the minority of dressed-up fans, whispering lines along and sharing the joy and sadness. Got to know a nice friend of Elbey's by the name of Cele with whom I discussed the pauses away. She's about as crazy as I am, so there was a lot to talk about. (She also studies in Cologne - German, Latin and I forgot)
Now I've seen it twice I love it even more. I desperately need more sleep (by the way, was it just me or did most of the people in Japanese look rather tired today?), but all the same I'm already planning to see it as soon as possible again; in spite of the things I'm really, really missing (such as the Houses, sucker that I am for the Faramir/ Éowyn storyline and anything remotely Númenorean), I'm really, really content with this movie, except that, well, I can't wait for the Special Extended Edition.
Isn't it weird that so many of the added scenes from the TTT SEE are really rather important for film three? I mean, honestly, there's stuff they never should've cut.
Nice moment coming home around 5 am. My mom woke up and asked what was up, and I answered, "Well, I'm back..." and only then noticed. Heh.
And now I'll stop annoying you with the Return of the King. For now.

Ich gebe ja zu, im Moment sind meine Gesprächsthemen eher vorhersehbar. )

A big hand for my daddy, the hero who repaired my car's front lights that died on my way home this morning!

I'm afraid it's not healthy to watch a movie for the third time on the first day that it has officially come out.
