Busy, busy
Jun. 2nd, 2004 01:45 amWell, that was quite a productive day.
I finally dared to try and get an Elfwood gallery (I had browsed some galleries the last few days and concluded that while my lousy attempts at art are far from brilliant, they're still at least average in comparison...).
I finally dyed some pants that had turned pinkish from washing. Now they're black. No danger of pinkish hues, I hope.
Made a Ravenclaw badge and a wand for the premiere tomorrow. Lent a blue-and-white striped tie from my brother, found an old skirt from my mother and an old pullover from my dad on the attic. That's the good thing about Harry Potter fandom: Getting a costume is so much easier and cheaper than it is for LOTR or anything...
And finally, Jörg and I drove to Snogard, went into a wild computer component shopping frenzy, and I now have a much faster, practically new computer. And Windows XP. Which is sort of bad, because there are no drivers for my damn scanner that work with XP. And I need that scanner, for how else am I supposed to get my pictures digitalized? Any ideas, anyone?
