Well, well, well.
Oct. 11th, 2004 09:30 pmThis semester has begun with mixed omens.
On minus side: Almost had an accident this morning. My 'opponent' and me managed to break about 10 cm from each other, so nothing happened, but not good. Not good at all. And my fault. Well, the sun's fault, it blinded me. But the sun wouldn't have paid. It wouldn't have got hurt, either.
On plus side: Found two ten-euro bills in my Japanese book. Huzzah. Must have put them in there half a year ago. V. effective way of saving money, that.
Otherwise, all the interesting classes are at the same time as classes I have to take, it seems (with very few exceptions). Since I don't expect to find a time-turner any time soon, I'm afraid I'll have to live with compromises. That also means I only have 14 weekly hours of classes this semester, which is good because it means no stress but bad because it feels like being lazy and I'm not being lazy, I just can't help it. Damn the faculty of English. The Japanese seminar always has the same fixed schedule; they really needn't fill the times always occupied by Japanese. Damn, damn, damn.
My brother began studying in Cologne today; he'll be attending the Anglo-Saxon lecture I can't go to because of Japanese. Insert expressions of envy here. (That is, by the way, something you could go to,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
