The rest of yesterday
Dec. 7th, 2004 08:00 amWell, I finished those stupid texts. Now I only have to search pictures, but that's not so difficult.
After meeting my presentation partner (who apparently thought that I knew nothing about computers at all - just 'cause I never worked with PowerPoint before!), I hurried to the Cinedom to watch National Treasure with
elfy,
eliathanis,
seefuchs,
kaneda,
zorn, Werner and someone I didn't know. I liked the film; of course it's no Indiana Jones, and there are some inplausibilities, but it was fun and cool and exciting. Popcorn cinema, but of the good sort. And yay! Sean Bean! The only funny thing was Diane Kruger (Heidkrüger, erudammit). I'm still wondering whether her extreme accent (unlike the others, I found it more heavy than in Troy, but of course, she also had more to say in this film than in Troy) was a conscious attempt to show the German viewers that she's talking with a German accent in the original, or whether she really talks like this.
*sigh* Off for the picture search.
