Is there a European language besides German that does not have a heathen deity in its word for Wednesday?

[In German it's 'Mittwoch', "midweek", which is appropriate but boring. Are we the only boring people?]

No, honestly, it amuses me like something unholy that all the weekday-names are still Heathen. Even Sunday, except in the Roman languages. Fun!

... is it bad that I now want a Ink Mixing Kit after reading [livejournal.com profile] officialgaiman? Mixing my own ink colours? Imagine the possibilities that would grant me for both my Silm and for Seelenbücher!

I wonder whether this calls for an Toxic Sludge Coloured Ink Day. I mean what?

(Lo and behold what the information on the product says:
PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT MIX CANDY APPLE RED, TANGERINE DREAM AND HOT BUBBLE GUM WITH ANY OTHER INKS, AS THEIR BASIC CHEMICAL COMPOSITION IS DIFFERENT AND A SLUDGE-LIKE MATERIAL WILL RESULT.
... Quod erat demonstrandum. *snerks*)
