Well, it's autumn again. I love autumn. I love the middle seasons, autumn and spring, and there's nothing like the colours of an autumn forest.
Seeing as three quarters of the year are done now, though, it's time to finally put another 'soundtrack of my life' CD for the first half year together. I have all the tracks I need, except for three songs:
a) Farin Urlaub - Dusche
b) Backstreet Boys - Incomplete
c) Coldplay - Speed of Sound.
I am saying this here because I know that people on my friendslist must have one or more of these songs, and if you do, please use Yousendit to let me have them, please, please. Love you.
I meant to make stuffed pumpkin tonight in celebration of the equinox, but unfortunately, tonight
is the day when Regina and Ricci finally want to cook the meal they promised to Jörg and Pino after last year's German kata championship. They mean to do this at our flat, so I have to try and get it into a representable state before 7 pm. Then the two girls will arrive, and I'll have to supervise and entertain them until Jörg and Pino arrive at 9 pm. It's going to be terrible. As you can guess from the fact that the whole thing has been planned for about a year now and only takes place now, it's horribly difficult to find a day on which they're all able to meet, but today was the worst day to pick, what with Jörg being in Gronau to visit the Urenco and Pino giving practice 'till late, and me in a mood to have a nice little autumnal celebration rather than a forced meal at which I am, at best, tolerated. If Jörg weren't gone, I would be able to get away, but as things are, the girls wouldn't be able to get in, and I can't leave them alone, either. And apparently there's no other place than our flat. Gaaaaah.
Autumn should have prettier names. 'Fall' sounds like 'downfall', and 'autumn' sounds like 'Utumno'. Whatever you use, you lose.
