Uni Madness, Episode 7. Also, mêmes.
Nov. 8th, 2005 04:45 pmThe Demonical seminar is weird. Really weird. Mainly because of Ehmcke-sensei's random commentaries in between.
For example, I now find myself being really curious about Ehmcke-sensei's telepathic experiences. WTF?
Also, she studied Cultural Anthropology as well. Scary.
I'll have to do a presentation and a paper on the French colonies in the Southern pacific. Hoh joy.
I was insane and registered for the Intermediate Exam in Anthro today, too. I absolutely do not want to do it. However, I'll have to at some point. And now that I'm registered, chances are that I have no choice but to get it over with this semester.
The professor with whom I registrated said 'Ganbatte kudasai' when I left. Apparently he had seen that I studied Japanese, too. So I got to know that he had studied Japanese too, and spent a while in Tôkyô doing research. I was very tempted to ask him why the heck he didn't do seminars on Japan then. Grah.
So, the Anthro exam.
Firstly, I have to get two different lecturers (three, actually, but luckily the lecturers for Culture and for Theories are the same person) in one room at the same time. Because Anthro students have to organize their execution themselves.
Secondly, I have to give intelligent answers and have an intelligent conversation with those lecturers for 45 minutes on the topics of three seminars.
Thirdly, This Is Impossible.
.... Shit.
Même Time.

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want, either good or bad. I promise not to come after you with an instrument of doom, either way. When you're finished, post this little paragraph in your journal and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.
And because
zorn tagged me, a looong list même.
( Behind the cut for lengthiness. )
I tag whoever feels like doing it, because I'm boring like that.

Und zum (Rück-)Übersetzen bin ich zu faul. Vielleicht.... später.
... verdammt, jetzt hab ich wieder Lust auf Monkey Island.
