Well, great. My stupid brain keeps reading that Johari stuff that keeps showing up all over my friendslist as 'Jopari'.

Now I want to read His Dark Materials again. RIGHT NOW.

Grr.

So, as our landlord dropped by today - Jörg wanted to show him the cellar wall he renovated after the plaster came off when you just looked at it sharply - I had to tidy up my workspace.
The general problem with that - aside from my naturally chaotic ways - is that work'space' is really a misleading word. Worknonspace would be more like it. I don't have enough room for my books and papers, which means they have to go on the desk, which means the desk is always cluttered.
Well, I tidied up as well as possible, i.e. arranged the clutter in semi-orderly piles and shoved the books onto the shelves somewhere.
And because that's a rare occurance - something at least resembling order - I took photos. Hah.

My worknonspace.
There, isn't it admirably orderly?
Well, kind of orderly.
And just because I can: Admire the elite unit guarding my books. Which is to say, you fuck with my books, you die.

... and this is what the desk usually looks like.

She's here again! Has been for three hours. And even allowed us to close the window for more than a few minutes, and ventured from the kitchen to the rest of the flat. Not that she stayed there for long - she went into the living-room, than the bedroom, then the living-room again and curled up on the rug in the hallway before returning to the kitchen (and the food bowl)- but that she went more than a meter away from the kitchen window at all is a might accomplishment.
So, yay! She might get used to us after all.
