Turns out my presentation partner dropped the class. Couldn't the damn idiot have told me, at least? Or the professor, for that matter? After all, he did bother to ask whether I was still doing the presentation. Would adding "... even though Mr Isenburg* dropped out" have been so difficult?
Grr.
The presentation went fairly well, though. Phew.
I copied stuff for my Anthro presentation (Gender and Food), which was easy to find, and copied the tiny bit of stuff I found for my Japanese presentation (The Policies of the Great Monasteries). Why do I always get the Japanese presentation topics that have no easily accessible useful literature? I mean, WTF. Neither NĂ´ (last semester) nor Buddhism are so rare that one should expect the literature research to be that tricky. I hate it already.
But for now, I have decided to turn the rest of the day into a relaxing and artsing day despite everything. I have, after all, a soulbook to finish, and art that has been waiting for completion for weeks now. So, enough responsibility, let's have at least a bit of fun.
*A knight of the Isenburg (those who read Tolkien or know Old English will guess that the name means "iron castle") - which is near Essen - murdered the last Count of Berg. The counts of Berg used to be the liege lords of the area I live in. So I should've figures that someone named Isenburg would betray me! Grrrrr.
