Lord, give me patience, but hurry!

Eru Allmighty, why does it need a one-and-a-half hour information sitting about Studying In East Asia to give me the five URLs I was looking for, and the deadlines I have to keep? Why do they have to wrap it up in a mass of semi-informative small-talk plus the amazingly uninteresting testimonies of people who've already been there? And why did Donner-san of all people have to do one of those testimonies? Donner-san, who always graces the Religion in Japan seminar with his long-winded questions or, worse, answers to questions that have never been asked and never will be asked? And why did the professor for Chinese Studies have to point out things that are either self-evident or irrelevant?

My companions-in-woe, nimielle and rosa_rennsemmel, whom I coincidentally met there, left fairly soon, but I weathered it to the end in the hope of something really useful coming up. It didn't. Thankfully, nimielle provided me with eight pages of Harry/Draco which served to keep me amused during the testimonies.

At least I did get the five URLs and deadlines I needed.

Oh Mann, wieso braucht es ein anderthalbstündiges Informationstreffen über das Studieren in Ostasien, wenn ich doch bloß eine Handvoll URLs und ein paar Abgabetermine brauche? Warum muss man das dann in einen Haufen semi-informativen Genuschels einwickeln, und dann auch noch ein paar beindruckend langweilige Erfahrungsberichte? Und warum muss einen davon dann auch noch Donner-san halten? Ausgerechnet Donner-san, der ständig das Religion in Japan-Seminar mit irgendwelchen völlig sinnfreien, dafür aber langwierigen Fragen oder, schlimmer noch, Antworten auf Fragen, die kein Mensch gestellt hat oder je stellen wird, beglückt? Und warum musste der Sinologie-Professor ständig auf Sachen hinweisen, die entweder selbsterklärend oder irrelevant sind?

Meine Leidensgenossinnen nimielle und rosa_rennsemmel, die mir zufällig über den Weg liefen, sind denn auch früher gegangen, aber ich hab bis zum Ende ausgeharrt in der Hoffnung, es käme noch irgendwas Gutes am Schluss. Aber nein. Glücklicherweise hat mich nimielle, bevor sie gegangen ist, mit acht Seiten Harry/Draco versorgt, die mich während der Erfahrungsberichte bei Laune gehalten haben.

Und immerhin habe ich die 5 URLs und Abgabetermine gekriegt, wegen derer ich da war.

Ich hoffe dir hat die Fiction gefallen, ich lese die hin und wieder ganz gerne, auch wenn es nicht meine Lieblingsgeschichte ist :)

OMG O.O We haaaaaaaaave to do the "Towel-appreciation-day" seriously!! :D The 25th is next week on Thursday, which happens to be a public holiday, but I think I might give it a try anyway :D muhahaha! ;)

Yes, I enjoyed it quite a lot. It was loads better than the babbling in front, I can tell you...

We do! I did it the last two years, but of course, due to Ascension Day, we'll just be doing it for ourselves this year. And don't forget it's also the day of the Glorious Revolution in Treacle Mine Road (did you read Night Watch?)

That's ok. I have flashes of using English, too. In fact, as you probably found out by now, I tend to rely on English more than on German, if I get the chance...
