Les Bleus got to the Finals!
We have, apparently, one lonely Frenchman in Solingen, who is now driving around honking (the Portuguese community is fairly close by, which is probably where he's actually driving around - or not, if he values his life)...

And since Germany didn't make it there, I can now unashamedly root for France. Yay!

Everytime I see World Cup stuff on TV I think of you. Mainly because you're the only one I know following it. Aren't you flattered I live in a bubble? Haha!

*g* I know many people who don't follow it. Actually, I'm half surprised myself that I suddenly take an active interest in it! I blame it all on the time after my graduation (which was four years ago, and World Cup time as well), and nostalgia. ;)

It is fun. And mee too was thinking of you when cars with french flags past me by yesterday (ohm, today, it was past midnight). And it is quiete obvious why they shout "Zizou" and not "Zinedine Zidane"
