akallabêth is one of the stories tagged onto the Silmarillion, the story of the Downfall of Númenor. The title means "the Downfallen" in Adûnaic. The Elvish translation would be Atalantë. You can probably vaguely imagine the rest now. ;)

goldseven is the screenname of a fan artist I really admire.

mythopoeia is - surprise - another Tolkien thing: A long poem Tolkien wrote one day after a discussion with C.S.Lewis on the worth and truth value of myths. It's powerful and adorable and I want to write long poems after arguments with friends, too.

The pixel liberation front showed up in the credits of Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. It's an awesome name for a special fx company, I think, so it ended up in my interests.

infinite improbability is from The Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. The starship Heart of Gold is powered by an Infinite Improbability drive. Which is pretty powerful and generates unlikely things. Fun!

marauders - this actually has a double meaning: The sports team of the Canadian high school I went to for one term was called the "Midland Marauders"; the actual reason why I've got it there is the glorious little band of four from the Harry Potter books, the Marauders, the guys with the map: Moony, Prongs, Padfoot and Wormtail: Remus Lupin, James Potter, Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew.

I seem to be doing a lot of name-tossing in explaining my interests.

I am finally daring to upload stuff on DeviantArt and just as I managed to fill in all the bloody information they demand they go all "deviantART is currently performing system maintenance. Please try again in 5 minutes." WE ARE NOT GOING TO BE FRIENDS AT THIS RATE. *grumps*

Darcy did another heroic deed today: After the mouse episode, there was a dog episode. Dog came to look at Darcy, Darcy was scared and ran away. Dog followed. Darcy did three turns through my garden (many cornflowers let their lives to bring you this information) and then climbed up the telegraph pole.
He stayed there, too.
He only dared to clamber back down when I stood underneath the mast and held my arms up, but then he clambered down all right: slowly, carefully and succesfully.
Such a smart cat. ^_^

In the States, there's an Emergency Broadcast Network, which all radio and television stations belong to. Every so often, usually around two or three o'clock in the morning, they'll broadcast a "test" similar to my comment. It was silly, and I couldn't expect you to get it, and I appologize.

Abteilung 42: Die Abteilung 42 ist der Geheimdienst des Terranischen Imperiums aus fuchsens Universum um Traidis. Sie hat ihren Namen tatsächlich wegen Douglas Adams, und weil sie eine Unterabteilung der ISA ist. Die Abteilung exitiert offiziell gar nicht und ist sehr wählerisch dabei, wen sie aufnimmt. Für einen Geheimdienst sind sie erstaunlich friedliebend. Ziel ist immer der Erhalt der "Sicherheit der Sterne". In einem anderen Universum würde dieses Konzept nicht funktionieren, und ich glaube, gerade das macht es für mich so interessant. Zurzeit spiele ich mit Kira im mIRC ein Spiel mit einem Chara aus der Abteilung, der sein Debut bei einem Traidisspiel hatte.

Deilswinter ist der Name eines Clans aus Kiras und meiner Vampirgeschichte. Die Familie bekam ihren Namen von einem Gedicht von Robert Burns, "Address to the Deil", und hat nur 10 Mitglieder, ist daher ziemlich klein, aber der coolste Clan überhaupt *werb*

Fragmente sind im Prinzip das, was ich schreibe, nie ganze Geschichten, niemals eine Vorgeschichte und so gut wie nie ein Ende. Nur das, was mir gerade durch den Kopf geht. zettelkasten hätte ich fragmente genannt, wenn der Name nicht schon besetzt gewesen wäre.

Gedanken eines Killer sind Dinge, die auch unter Fragmente fallen. Gehört im Prinzip in das_schloss. Die dritte gemeinsame Geschichte, die ich mit Kira schreibe, handelt von Profikillern (daher kommt Malice). Worüber so jemand nachdenkt, interessiert mich, rein literarisch gesehen.

sharp objects: Ich habe das von jemandem übernommen, weiß aber nicht mehr von wem. Generell halte ich scharfe Gegenstände für kryn, deshalb mein Interesse. Waffen fallen darunter, aber auch die aufgerissenen Kanten eines Wracks oder eine Rasierklinge. Eröffnet viele Möglichkeiten.

Vaycuri sind eine Alienrasse aus Kiras und meiner ersten gemeinsamen Story. Sie sind 1,50 m klein, schwarzweiß, zwei Jahre lang schwanger und haben Tentakel. Außerdem sind sie fast alle etwas überheblich, haben ein Matriarchat und die einzige Rasse, die vollständig psionisch begabt ist. Sie haben nach dem Krieg (den sie verloren haben), die Kaste als Ausbildungsstätte für psionisch Begabte gegründet.
Ich mag Vaycuri. Sie sind die einzig bekannte Rasse, die von unten hoch auf einen herabschauen können. Valit ist eine Vaycuri.
