On cats

Hey, I'm the first person to admit that while the sheer mass of cat macros has begun to annoy me, and some of the spellings and grammar mess-ups are too painful to be funny, I'm nonetheless somewhat assimilated (as in, I am tempted to say such things as "I CAN HAZ INTARWEBS" or, more recently, "I CAN HAZ DENSHIJISHO").

Now recently kali921 posted these two gems, and I can't help but hand them on:





This in itself is, of course, the perfect cat macro.

And then there's this one:



... I can so see my kittens doing that. Accidentally, mind, but they still might. After all, there were times when they scrutinised my Sir Gawain homework...



Speaking of my kittens, they're easily the thing I miss the most here (I can skype with the boyfriend so while I miss him physically, at least I know what's going on, and I haven't yet been here long enough to miss decent bread too badly). But no kittens to climb into my lap just when I want to get up, beginning to purrrrr loudly and happily? *sighs*
... mostly because of this I succumbed to the temptation of buying one of those little plush coal blobs from the My neighbour Totoro fanshoppe. It's black and furry and adorably cute.
And it purrs. >_>

Look, I'm convinced that potential employers hire PIs to scour the internets, looking for examples of job candidates using lolcats speak, and if they find any examples of same? People are automatically disqualified from employment. It will come back to haunt us all, I JUST KNOW IT.

Yes, both of those macros brought me joy. I'm glad you enjoyed them, too! And I'm very sorry that you are sans kitties in Japan.
