furius linked to The Ivory Horn, a beautiful (if sad and kind of bitter) HDM/Narnia crossover. Which works excellently.

And this one had me giggling like mad, mainly because of the Badgers: The Eagle Conspiracy. Lord of the Rings/Thursday Next, and again, it works ridiculously well. The author didn't quite manage Jasper Fforde's dry voice, but that is a hard thing to pull off. You might not want to read this if you're not familiar with the Thursday Next series, or if the idea of slash bothers you, but otherwise, shoot.

More to come if I hit any more gold.

Edith: My Secret Magi. Ahahaha I can so see that as a Scrubs episode.

Edith the Second: Bagatelle. Fire and Hemlock, and the voice actually feels right.

I should read more varied fanfic more often. It pays off.

I think it's the quality control bit that appeals to me. Searching ff.net for the one good story among ten is so... tiring. ;)
