And yes, I couldn't resist convincing kaneda to come and see Revolutions again today. Best way really - otherwise, it's just too likely that I spoil her someway. And she wouldn't like that at all.
I'm on a Matrix-induced high that even yari-morai-verbs can't break.
It's a really good feeling to have seen the third film of a trilogy - and have liked it. :)
Considering how poorly this film did in the eyes of most critics - our newspaper totally tore it to pieces, and on the radio only one out of ten said he had liked it - it's really weird how madly I enjoyed it. Maybe it was because my expectations were very low really and there was just vague hope that it would do the first part justice - and both hope and expectations were surpassed splendidly.
It's especially annoying because I can't call every newspaper or radio station to tell them they just didn't get it and it rocked, but it does get me into some sort of missionary mood. Must - convert - evil - naysayers!

Natürlich, ich konnte einfach nicht widerstehen und habe kaneda dazu überredet, heute nochmal mit mir in Revolutions zu gehen. Ist auch am Besten so - sonst hätte ich sie ganz sicher irgendwie ernsthaft gespoilt. Und das hätte ihr gar nicht gefallen.
Ich bin auf einem Matrix-High, von dem mich nicht einmal die yari-morai-Verben runterholen können. Es ist echt ein gutes Gefühl, den dritten Teil einer Trilogie gesehen zu haben, wenn er einem gefallen hat. Sehr erfüllend. :)
Wenn man bedenkt, wie furchtbar dieser Film in den Augen der meisten Kritiker war -unsere Zeitung hat ihn völlig verissen, und im Radio hat gerade mal einer von zehn Anrufern gesagt, dass er ihn gut fand - ist es echt verrückt, wie furchtbar er mir gefallen hat. Vielleicht, weil meine Erwartungen nur noch sehr gering waren und ich nur eine vage Hoffnung hatte, dass es dem ersten Teil Gerechtigkeit widerfahren lassen würde, und sowohl Hoffnung als auch Erwartungen wunderbar übertroffen wurden.
Es ist nur etwas ärgerlich, weil ich nicht alle Zeitungen und Radiosender anrufen kann, um ihnen zu sagen, dass sie den Film einfach nicht verstanden haben und er spitze war, obwohl mich ihre Berichte in eine sehr missionarische Stimmung bringt. Muss - böse - Meckerer - bekehren!

Um 20 Uhr ins UFA, nur Kan und ich. 4,50 € wegen Kinotag. Wir haben allerdings schon Karten gekauft, weil esja doch ziemlich voll sein dürfte...
