Can't say it was unexpected. More like, "I knew it." Can't say the Spaniards don't deserve it; they were definitely the better team.

Still, you can always hope. Or could, until now. It would've been nice.

Oh well. The good thing for those of us in the audience, not on the field, is that we can always be back in our positions in four years' time... (Or two, too.)
