Well shiver me timbers and split me infinitives, the weather forecast was right.

SNOW.
Lots and lots of SNOW.

I am still at work, and have to be for two more hours. I hope I'll manage to get home afterwards. Am not afraid of my own driving - I got winter tyres and proper Bergian snow-driving skillz - but am afraid of other people's.

I was hoping I'd be at home with tea and the fire on by the time the snows set in. Obviously not.

Eek.

We had a SURPRAISE SNOWSTORM but now it's as if it never happened.

Now that's crazy. You and us aren't supposed to have the same sort of weather. We only had flurries forecast, and they may have happened. Today it's clear and FREEZING cold, like 19 F.

Yes...hm.. yes.. we have a tiny thin coat of snow on everything here - probably vanished soon. Wanna have more. But what a great thing to have it at all. And I envy you a bit for the fireplace incl. cats waiting for you at home to snuggle in. Well, got tea here and my dog - that counts I guess. Unfortunately he wont curl up on my lap.

Get home save!

But I like snow!
Just not when there are stupid people on the road.

*clings* Get home safe, you. We had snow here as well = hell. The trip from Brhv to Nwa took more than twice as long as it should have (that is to say, more than an hour!) a; the road markings had gone completely invisible... but I suppose you do have more of that fluffy white stuff.

Keeping my fingers crossed that you don't encounter idiots or other obstacles on the road home.

Did!

Not really that much more - there was a kind of drizzly snow falling on the road, but only once I reached Burg was there anything worth mentioning on the ground. And it's very little even here - the roads are too wet yet. So as yet it's pretty rather than annoying - as long as it's gone by tomorrow (we can't really work outside when it's snowing, and we really should!).
