Is it just me, or does this week's Die Zeit front page look rather like a teaser poster for a tv series?

"PotUS Season 44. Starts Jan. 20th."

One of the people on my FList posted about this LJ community today that apparently is about fan-squee and what I'd personally call fluff-FF about the new US administration.

Also, I saw this fluff news item the other day which said "Obama got lost wandering around the White House". See, if his predecessor had done this, everyone would have gone *FACEPALM* - but now it's all "D'awww, lookit him".

It boggles the mind.
