Rebecca Gablé is the pseudonym of a German author writing (among other things) historical novels set during the War of the Roses. So if I were deeper into her novels, my mind would nicely stay in 14th century England, as it should ;) I don't think she's all that popular outside of Germany, so you needn't worry about not knowing her.
