Picspam I: Lenten is come...

Including pics I've been meaning to post in February. And in April. Which is why it's a somewhat massive picspam. On the plus side, it nicely shows the development between then and now.



As per always, clicky on the thumbnail will lead to a larger version. Also as per always, feel free to ignore my commentaries underneath, most aren't particularly interesting anyway. Unless you're desperate to know what those plants are called.
People who are afraid of bees or other critters may not want to click on the thumbnails where the captions mention bees (or butterflies, or whatever). If you click anyway, that's your own responsibility. We should all be grown-ups here, I believe.

I love how many weird names this plant has in English – Livelong, Frog's stomach, Harping Johnny, Midsummer men, Witch's moneybags... In Germany it's just called Fetthenne - "fat hen". At least that's kinda weird, too...	Bees! bees! I have bees again!	Wood sorrel	The standard valley view, of course

The Buggery pic xDD I want to make an icon with "unf unf" on it. And mygosh, that's the prettiest lamb I've ever seen.

For me, the most amusing thing about the Buggery pic is that I saw those ladybirds at it... and thought "Oh well, by the time I've gotten the camera, they'll probably have stopped and gone away, but I might as well try." Then I returned with the camera and they were still cheerfully at work. So I took the picture and brought the camera back inside. Went back outside - still busy. Half an hour later - still busy. Impressive stamina for such small animals XD

I got new ones for free, actually! Which is a long story with a couple of curses in it - as I said, I really should blog more about the bees, if only to get that story told. *shifty eyes*
