Baby's first LARP...

... well, LARPie as it's only a two-day thing. Sort of a test run for the big events in July - to see how he likes camping and grown-ups behaving even weirder than usual...
Of course, it's the weekend where the rain clouds return after two exceedingly sunny weeks. Wish us luck!

Ich drücke euch die Daumen für ein entspanntes Wochenende mit glücklichem Baby. Er wird bestimmt der Star im Lager - und wenn er jetzt schonmal anfängt, zu EP zu sammeln, wird er ein verdammt unputtbarer GrundschulLARPER. xD

For a somewhat older child I'm sure it's fantastic! I wasn't certain about a toddler, who after all doesn't yet know what's going on. But he appears to have enjoyed it - he was less whiny than he is at family events... not sure what I should think about that! XD

Yup, he seems to have enjoyed it. Later on, of course, it's going to be fantastic, though I don't want to be the teacher who has to make sense of his "My best vacation experience" essay! ("In the morning, there was archery training. Then we had lunch in Count Joona's encampment. Later on, the orcs attacked...") :D

A lot of teachers I know are roleplayers - we invade the country from every side ;) could be that Felix' first essay will be graded with "+10 XP".

We're not LARPers but I look forward to take my kid with me to the medieval fair in his or her little outfit already :D
