Blast from the past, but it still makes a nice card.


No, not my artwork, though damned if I know who is the artist.

On the plus side, after the surprisingly warm last couple of days, I actually got much of the vegetable garden in order. Just in time for hibernation :P

Also, as a belated birthday present or early Hallowe'en gift for everyone else: You can get a free scary short story, written by Neil Gaiman, read by Neil Gaiman, over at Audible.com (or Audible.co.uk if you're in the UK or Commonwealth). Doesn't cost you a thing except a few moments, you don't even have to sign up for Audible if you've already got an Amazon account, and for every downloaded story, Audible is going to donate to a charity of Gneil's choice (either DonorsChoose or Booktrust). So. Click? And spread the word? (I haven't listened to it yet so I have no idea whether it's good. But hey, free literature for a good cause!)

Unfortunately I have no idea who drew the pic either :) I like it, except for the storage of the harp - I cringe to look at the poor instrument perched so precariously up there!
