A hive with a view



At the hive's front door. It was so funny to watch - the bees shoot out of the box (to empty their bladders), then leisurely fly back and do some sunbathing! Except for those who have to get back to work, of course.



They didn't just use the mild weather for their Reinigungsflug ("hygiene flight", I have no idea what it's called in English!), they already brought some pollen home - see the little yellow and orange globes? No clue where they found those. The only things that are already in flower are snowdrops, winter aconite and the odd crocus. And hazel, but hazel pollen has a different colour!

Mr. Darcy approves of the weather, too!


The sunny weather is supposed to last only until tomorrow, with rain (but no frost!) from Thursday onwards. Oh well. I'm already tempted to get working in the garden, but rationally, it's not really the right time yet!

Winter is always coming, because years work repetitively. (And more predictably than in Westeros, too! ;))
But right now, no matter what the weather has in store for us... the days are getting longer and spring is coming. I WANT TO BELIEVE.
