FIRST SNOWFLAKE OF THIS WINTER ENTIRE YEAR, ACTUALLY: SIGHTED.

The snow isn't staying yet, but hey, it's still early in the season. At least it's starting to come. Time to change my LJ into its winter outfit! [/frivolous]

(Not actually quite harmless. Windscreen wiper is still broken. Garage is moving locations and not available this week. Hear me whine.)

I wish some snow would fall here, but I don't think it's cold enough for that. :(

I hope your stuff gets fixed up soon!

Here, we still have warmer time than the average. I'm not complaining, because it's easier to endure, and heating-expenses are lower.

But I'd like at least one or two snowy days, because I bought new winter-tyres, and I wouldn't like the fact that I had bought them in vain...

Hah! We had that last year. We got new winter tyres (and expensive they were, too!), and then... one day of snow all winter, and no frost whatsoever. Hope you'll be luckier.

We had a pretty warm (and dry) November, but at the moment, the weather is normal for the season - around freezing, and a lot of moisture.

no snow here. not even in the mountains.
I wanted to go crosscountry skiing next weekend when we are on a short holiday at ~800m. No way. guess I'll spend some more time in the spa instead ;)

Well, it's nowhere close to skiing weather here, either. There's just the tiniest dusting on the ground. But I guess it's a start.

Spa sounds lovely, and hopefully there'll be other chances to ski later this winter?

Don't worry about the skiing - it's just one hill to the nearest downhill slopes and crosscountry places are even nearer.
