I know the Sirius/serious pun isn't exactly new, but it still made me fall into hysterical fits of giggling, so there.

Speaking of werewolves, there are some streets around here where I really want to know how they got their names. I mean, street names like Schwertstraße (Sword Street), Messerstraße (Knife Street) or Klingenstraße (Blade Street) aren't surprising in a city that's been living from its smithies since the Middle Ages and that's known as the city of blades and that practically has Aulë as a patron Vala. But I'd really like to know where street names like Schwurstraße (Oath Street - well I can't help that I have to think of Fëanor whenever I hear 'oath'!), Fluchstraße (Curse Street), Schwarze Pfähle (Black Poles) and, finally, Werwolf (Werewolf). Werewolf. All I know is one probably shouldn't enter that street in full moon nights.

Am now all settled to begin with "Of Aulë and Yavanna". Great, really; since I started working on it again I've got two chapters done in two months. If I go on like that, I should finish the project around September 2006. Ah hah hah hah. Excuse me while I go shoot myself, or something.

No shooting, however, until I finally meet Jörg again. Four more days to wait...

Immerhin bringt es mich auf das Thema Werwölfe, was mich wiederum daran erinnert, dass es hier ein paar Straßen gibt, wo ich wirklich gerne wüsste, woher sie ihren Namen haben. Also, Sachen wie Schwertstraße, Messerstraße oder Klingenstraße sind nicht sonderlich überraschend in einer Stadt, die seit dem Mittelalter von Messerschmieden lebt und als die Klingenstadt bekannt ist und quasi Aulë als Schutzpatron hat. Aber ich wüsste zum Beispiel gerne, wo die Schwurstraße, die Fluchstraße, Schwarze Pfähle und schließlich Werwolf ihren Namen her haben. Ja, Werwolf. Vielleicht sollte man in diese Straße bei Vollmond besser nicht gehen.

Bin soweit und kann mit "Of Aulë and Yavanna" anfangen. Ganz toll; jetzt, wo ich mich wieder drangesetzt habe, habe ich zwei Kapitel in zwei Monaten geschafft. Wenn ich so weitermache, sollte ich um den September 2006 fertig sein. Ah hah hah hah. Entschuldigt mich einen Moment, ich such mir einen Strick und erschieß mich damit.

Allerdings auf keinen Fall, bevor ich endlich meinen Schatz wiedersehe. Noch vier Tage...
