The weekend is over - and I have a new name. (So far I have managed to answer the phone correctly, but of course so far I've been paying attention - it's fresh on my mind after all.) The living-room is full of flowers and unwrapped and as-yet-wrapped presents. I have neglected this LJ dreadfully in the past weeks, and I will probably hate myself for it in five or so years' time when I wish to remember about the wedding preparations and can't because I forgot to write anything down, so I'll try to put it down now before I forget it all.

Sodele!
Das Wochenende ist vorbei, und ich habe einen neuen Namen. (Bisher habe ich es geschafft, mich am Telefon richtig zu melden, aber natürlich habe ich bisher auch noch fest dran gedacht - schließlich ist die Erinnerung noch frisch.) Im Wohnzimmer türmen sich die Blumen und die aus- und unausgepackten Geschenke. Ich habe das LJ leider in der vergangenen Zeit schwer vernachlässigt und werde in fünf Jahren oder so böse auf mich sein, weil ich dann gern nochmal nachlesen würde, wie das bei den Hochzeitsvorbereitungen war und dann nicht kann, weil ich ja nix geschrieben habe. Ich versuche das jetzt in geraffter Form nachzuholen, bevor ich alles vergesse.

Unfortunately we won't get the professional photographs before next week, but here's one my mother took!/ Die Bilder von der offiziellen Photographin kriegen wir leider nicht vor nächster Woche, aber hier ist immerhin schon mal eins, das meine Ma gemacht hat:
Für die Zusendung von Bildern durch Gäste bin ich durchaus dankbar :D
