Sooo. I'm afraid I'm finally succumbing to the lure of the portable music playing devices. I want one. Badly.
The moral issue (aside from not having the money I'd need to aquire one) is the following: I can't decide whether I'd rather want an iPod or an iRiver. The iPod looks better, is more likeable and, apparently, easier to handle. The iRiver, on the other hand, can not only store but also record music and speech, but the handling must be a science in itself. The price is about the same for either, so that's not helping any.
Gnah.
You help me decide.

Date: 2005-06-04 03:20 am (UTC)My roommate maintains that his iPod is the best thing that ever happened to him, but personally I found that the device itself didn't remotely make up for the awful technology you have to install in order to use it. iTunes and my computers DO NOT get along.
